Monday Musings: chomping on the bit

With the release of a new book comes publicity and marketing tasks. I don’t like this part of the publishing process. Interviews are fine, I don’t mind those really, but it’s all the announcing and tweeting and posting that I’m supposed to do to get the word out that makes me cringe. I’m awful, truly awful at self-promotion. I think my husband has told more people that I write books that I have. This is the stage I’m in right now.
